We're thrilled to share some exciting news from us here at Bamboovement! Last week we ran our first-ever billboard and city screen campaign, showcasing our eco-friendly razor across seven incredible cities. If you've spotted one of our ads, we'd love to hear from you!A shout-out to Iris Jasmijn Oostindiën from TriplePro Direct Marketing, who, with infectious enthusiasm, came up with our catchy slogan, "Laat er geen gras over groeien", about a year ago. It might have been a bit early for public ads back then, but now, with our recent launch at Etos, it felt like the right time.The striking images on the billboards are thanks to our talented Nazanin Mirsharifi. They captured the perfect shots during a recent photo shoot at the beautiful location of Maison Crêpe in Winsum, breathing new life into the original campaign idea.We also owe a huge thank you to Social Enterprise NL. Being part of their network introduced us to the fantastic team at Ocean Outdoor Nederland, where Tim Sneep has been a tremendous help.Seeing Bamboovement, which started as a simple idea and is now featured on city streets, is surreal. We're still basking in the warm, sustainable glow of last weekend's 'Marktmakers' event at the Centrale Markthal - the buzzing building home to creative, culinary and circular entrepreneurs and start-ups and plenty of pigeons. This unique event, brilliantly organised by two neighbouring renters, Soscha Monteiro de Jesus and Quita Schabracq, was a fantastic opportunity for us at #Bamboovement to share our vision and interact with fellow renters and invitees.We hosted a "Make-Your-Own-Bamboo-Straw" workshop at our office, and we're thrilled by the enthusiastic turnout. It was a humbling reminder of our common goal - reducing our plastic footprint for a cleaner, healthier planet.We witnessed straws of all shapes, sizes, and colours come to life - a tangible testament to the beauty of diversity in sustainability. The passion and creativity displayed were truly inspirational. And the joy of crafting something by hand was a refreshing change of pace in our fast-paced world.We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us and the phenomenal organisers for facilitating this meaningful exchange.
