Job Description
- Responsible for revenue and margin recognition, the monthly update of project plan values and progress (POC) in line with internal control requirements
- Monitoring of cost of sales and analysis of deviations from the project plan
- Provides regular project forecasts / cost to complete (revenue, cost, margin) and updates of project cash flow planning
- Issuance of invoices towards the client and follow up of incoming payments; checking and releasing supplier invoices in SAP/IFS
- Responsible for proper set up and maintenance of projects in SAP/IFS in collaboration with estimator (project structure, planning)
- Preparation of financial part of the monthly project review (PFK) documents liaising with project directors, project procurement managers and other members of the project team
- Responsible for requesting hedges from treasury department
- Working hand in hand with project team members and members from the finance departments
- Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them
Qualifications
Job specific qualification
- Experience in a similar industry (preferably construction of large industrial plants)
- Good commercial awareness and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Basic product know-how and technical understanding
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- High level of resilience and assertiveness
- Ability to set priorities and take decisions
- Thorough and precise
- Teamplayer and customer oriented
- Good communication skills at all levels of business hierarchy and proactive attitude
- Experienced in working in an intercultural environment
Competence in working methods
- 3 - 5 years of experience in project controlling and / or project accounting
- Good command of SAP(PS, SD, MM, FI). IFS knowledge is an asset.
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially MS Excel), PIRS, SAP Cash Tool
- Fluency in written and spoken English, German or other languages are an asset
- Project Management skills
- Basic IFRS knowledge and awareness of tax issues
- Ability to work in a structured way
